Hi, I’m Crystal! 👋🏾

After discovering that I had an undiagnosed hormonal imbalance for years that wreaked havoc on my sense of wellbeing, including vaginal dryness, I embarked on an intimate self-care journey. As I began looking for solutions, I was unable to find a brand that resonated with me, as most felt matronly and sterile, and didn’t reflect my youthful femininity.

Driven by a passion to challenge the idea that intimate skin care products have to be sterile, hidden away and non-descript, Sugarbush was born.

Fun Fact: Our brand name was derived from the Sugarbush Protea flower, which was the unofficial national flower of South Africa for 200 years. Due to its natural adaption to survive in the harsh climate of South Africa, in the South African culture, the Protea flower is seen as a symbol of resilience, representing its people’s ability to thrive and withstand challenge. Just as the Sugarbush Protea is resilient, so are women.

From our hearts to yours, we aspire to encourage you to honor yourself, daily, through intentional self-care.

Our washes, oils and intimate skin and vulva balms are safe for daily use. Our Beekini Rescue concentrate and creme, can be used 2-3 times weekly, or as tolerated by your skin.

Is Sugarbush suitable for sensitive skin?

Absolutely! At Sugarbush Intimate Skin Care and Wellness, our products are gentle and effective for vaginas. For those with particularly delicate skin, we recommend using our “Sugar Free” (unscented) products, and performing a patch test before regular use, as an extra step of precaution.

Can Sugarbush be used during pregnancy?

Our formulations are crafted with gentle, non-toxic ingredients that are kind to your skin. However, we always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before starting any new skin care regimen during pregnancy, as each individual’s needs may vary. We do not recommend using our suppository capsules during pregnancy.
